Lee Meagher is the founder of Scootaround Inc, providing personal transportation solutions to the travelling public, as well as on cruise ships and at convention centres and events. Scootaround Inc, founded in 1997, has grown to include 2500 hundred mobility rental locations throughout North America as well as providing sales and repair services for some of the major airline carriers worldwide. In 2019, Scootaround Inc maintained Winnipeg as its North American Head Office operations when it merged with Whill Inc, a Japanese tech company that is a world leader in the development of autonomous driving mobility devices. In 2016, she was named one of Canada top female entrepreneurs by Profit Magazine.

A graduate of the University of Manitoba, Lee is the current Chair of the Board of Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation and past Chair of the St Boniface Hospital Research Foundation. She is a member of the Board of the Pan Am Clinic Foundation and also sits on the Advisory Committee for The CoHabit Project. As well she holds a seat on the Board of Directors of Pollard Banknote Limited.
